Is it time for the church to heed the warning of Christ, are there many like the Pharisee in Christ's time needing be warned about false teaching leading even the elect astray if possible, as Christ admonished the Pharisee's misunderstanding in Luke 17:20-21 "Once, having been asked by the Pharisee's when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you." Many Christian have been deceived by the sanctuary of Satan into a religious war, Christ instead warned His own that they prepare for spiritual war, but of this only a very few church leader gives warning or instruction.
A little background on Andrew Strom who is giving the (video 1-3) presentation, he came out of the Kansas City group now called International House of Prayer (IHOP) led by Mike Bickle. Andrew in discernment will reference IHOP and Mike Bickle only in a loving and critical way, Andrew and other's say Mike Bickle was set upon a path by the Lord, and so it should come as no surprise the prince of this world would send servants to cause delusion and misleading. The presentation's below will certainly give example of what scripture warns shall happen within the church to mislead, as far as Mike Bickle and IHOP Ministries, those with discernment say the Lord is dealing with both Mike Bickle and IHOP. This presentation then is not about Mike Bickle or IHOP ministry except as example, and instead concerns what is being accepted by many church body in error.
Has it obviously become time to take Christ's warning about false Prophets and Teachers performing false miracles, as described by Christ in Matt 24:23-25 "At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false Christ's and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect — if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time."
What are these false wonders and miracles, that even the church of Christ would be misled. Where do the false wonders and miracles come, is it that Satan must do all of this of hiimself. David Wilkerson has good advise in this regards, for the Christian... it is worth the eime spent listening.
Do the sign's and miracle's being found today appear and sound to be the work of the Holy Spirit among saints and believers. Are uncontrollable jerking of bodies, with shrieking and animal noises with uncontrolled laughter as was found in churches formed by the Apostle of Pauls time, or is there today much strangeness more the sign of false miracles and works not of the Holy Spirit?
Does Christ tell of a great revival in the end times and last days, or of a great falling away with false prophets, teachers, signs, wonders, and miracle's. Indeed there are signs, wonders, and miracles that follow the servant of Christ, and some will take much prayer, but as Christ told the rich man, get rid of your McMansion and Fleet of this, that, and another and follw me. Today instead and all to often, we see followers literally worshipping the servant. Paul at one time had to address this problem, serving God, but having to compete with 'super servants', and in this situation addressing the character of a servant. A thought, how many places in the Bible tell of people falling or collapsing when the Holy Spirit came upon them?
David Wilkerson now with the Lord spoke before from the heart about what he had heard and seen within churches today, is he in error of what Christ told us concerning signs and miracles to be found in the church, the signs and wonders enabled by the Holy Spirit?
Christ tells us in the end times and last days, Satan will cause even some of the elect to be deceived, if possible, and we should know very well what Christ is telling us. In the body of the church are many parts or gifts, about these we are assured that we will all grow in unity and maturity as 'each do their part'. In this the verse concerning, 'if you see your brother sin the sin not leading to death, these should be prayed for', some also a time for rebuke... by one or two that progress if needed into the need for the entire church. Today the tme has come for this progression of correction for those that may learn, and rebuke for others with same hope, and as Paul found need letting some be seperated to find the harder way.
